Veterinary Rehabilitation Technician | Animal Medical Center of Hattiesburg

Are you a Certified Companion Animal Therapist (CCAT), Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP), Certified Rehabilitation Veterinary Nurse (CCRVN), Certified in Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitation Therapy (CVMRT), or a VTS (Physical Rehab)? This is a specialized position requiring certification in canine rehabilitation and therapy. You will be responsible for helping pets regain mobility, manage pain, and improve overall well-being through tailored rehabilitation plans.

Key Responsibilities:
· Utilize advanced rehabilitation techniques such as underwater treadmill therapy and laser therapy

· Implement therapeutic exercises to improve proprioception, balance, endurance, and muscle function
· Work with specialized equipment including physioballs, cavaletti rails, balance blocks, weights, tunnels, rocker boards, and wobble boards

· Perform manual therapy techniques such as massage, range of motion (ROM) exercises, and stretching

· Apply physical modalities to aid in pain relief, strength recovery, and tissue healing

· Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

· Educate pet owners on home therapy exercises and post-rehabilitation care

What We’re Looking For:

· Certified in Veterinary Rehabilitation (CCAT, CCRP, CCRVN, CVMRT, or VTS - Physical Rehab)

· Minimum of 1 year of rehabilitation experience preferred

· Ability to work collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff

· Passion for patient care, client education, and progressive medicine

· Strong communication skills to ensure clear and compassionate client interactions

Schedule & Benefits:

 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends!)
